Testimonials from last year's participants.
“Stunning! Stunning! Stunning! Upon arrival the resort really took my breath away- particularly the views. Exceeded any expectation I had!”
“The room was so beautifully appointed. A very luxurious place to stay”
“The pools at the the resort were marvellous, the staff were warm and lovely and our beautiful, covered, breezy, outdoor yoga space was perfect”
“Absolutely exceptional- we were very spoilt! Dinners were varied and interesting vegetarian food- very tasty…the servings felt very generous!”
“I can’t fault my room. It was lovely. Everything terrific. Bed comfy, pillows good. Very pretty.”
“I came in thinking I would do one class at the retreat because I would be so behind everyone else, but everyone was supportive and positive. I felt fine just going at my own pace and level, no judgment at all. It was the disconnection from the noise and reconnection with myself that I did not know I needed! I really got a lot out of it. Much more than just a few days off work.

FAQs

Getting from Bali to Nusa Lembongan takes about 30 minutes by fast boat departing from Sanur harbour. There are several trips from Bali to Lembongan throughout the day. Our hotel recommends Dstar, Rocky & Kai Koa services, alternatively they can arrange your boat transfers from Bali to Nusa Lembongan and return if you contact them directly here.

Your passport must be damage free and valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia and you must have proof of onward passage (either return or through tickets). If you cannot fulfil both of these requirements, you may not be allowed to enter.
Before entering Indonesia, you need to complete an electronic health declaration form called the SATUSEHAT Health Pass. You can complete the form online before you check-in for your flight to Indonesia. After completing the form, a barcode containing your health and travel history will appear. Indonesian authorities will scan the barcode on arrival in Indonesia. Save your barcode, or bring a printed copy with you to ensure authorities can scan it on arrival.
Australian Passport holders are able to secure a Free Tourism Visa on Arrival (VOA). This can be obtained at the Airport in Bali but to avoid delays, we would strongly suggest securing this online as an E- VOA at least 48 hours before you travel. You can apply here.
Foreign tourists entering Bali are subject to a tourist levy of IDR 150,000 (around $15AUD) per person. The tourist levy is separate from the e-Visa on Arrival or the Visa on Arrival. Cashless payments can be made online here prior to travel or on arrival at designated payment counters at Bali's airport.

The water in the resort is pumped from the onsite bore to a holding tank, through a Desalination Plant and RO Treatment to provide fresh water. This fresh water is stored in a 90 000 litre underground tank for distribution through showers, basins, kitchens and bars. (The WC water comes from the holding tank before treatment.)
This means the resort filtered water is safe to drink, however outside of the resort I would still strongly advise to drink only bottled water during our stay. If you’re worried, I can also recommend purchasing Travelan- a preventative medication for food and waterborne bacteria- works a treat!

The new East Bali Medical Clinic servicing primarily tourists. Doctors also do Resort visits if necessary. While there is a hospital on the island, for any serious injuries we suggest heading to Bali as soon as possible to seek the appropriate medical attention as well as liasing with the Australian Embassy. For minor issues/sickness, our resort can organise the doctor to see you in your room for a fee. There is a small chemist in the village on the main road, which offers basic medications as well as a First Aid Kit at Reception.

This is similar to VAT or GST except there is a service element included. 10% is Service Charge and then 10% on this is Government Tax. (eg. 100 +10% = 110. 110 +10% = 121) The service charge component goes straight to the staff. By staying at places that charge the 21% we are ensuring that a good portion of our money is directly benefiting the local community. Base wages in Indonesia are not large and so this contribution means that staff can earn better wages. This charge is covered in your package for accomodation, activities, breakfast and dinners. Any other purchases you make during our stay will incur this charge.
